How do I tie a guitar strap to my guitar?

Your guitar strap can be fastened to your guitar body in two ways:
1) attach the strap ends to the pins on either side of the guitar’s body, or
2) if your guitar has only 1 pin, usually on the bottom of the body, attach the second end of the strap to the headstock by tying it, with one tie running behind the strings (above the nut), as shown in the photos below:
After fastening, adjust the length of your guitar strap to fit comfortably for playing.
