Do not install the software from your disc. Instead (or if your Win/Mac computer lacks a CD/DVD drive) please download and install the latest version from our downloads page. Make sure to inspect the posted system requirements.

If you've already installed the application, please make sure you have your serial number handy. Note that if the lastest update is a major version difference (e.g., from v5 to v6), you can't use your old serial number to activate the new version. Instead you'll have to purchase an upgrade version. 

The latest update is a minor version difference (e.g., from v5.1 to v5.2), then you'll be able to update with your existing serial number. To proceed with a minor version update, first deactivate your existing software using the item in the Help menu and then uninstall it. Reboot the computer before attempting to download and install the update from the above website. Then use your old serial number to activate the update.
