To deactivate, launch the eMedia software and select “Deactivate” from the Help menu.

eMedia serial numbers must be deactivated before they can be reused. You must do this before you uninstall the application, upgrade your operating system, or re-image the computer.

If your internet connection is working and you are still unable to deactivate, you may have reached the maximum number of allowed deactivations. If you are using the software within the terms of your license, please contact us for assistance.

Note: Schools that repeatedly neglect to deactivate their software prior to re-imaging the computer or upgrading the operating system may be subject to a deactivation fee.
