This error occurs because QuickTime is not loaded on your system. Sometimes this is because QuickTime was not installed by the user during program installation, it was uninstalled after the eMedia application was installed, or QuickTime is installed but corrupt. Either way, the solution is to reinstall the QuickTime player. The latest version can be downloaded here.
Note that it is not necessary to install the full installation of QuickTime. If you wish, you can select the 'Custom' installation and only install QuickTime Essentials.
Be sure to restart your computer after installing Quicktime and before running the eMedia application again.
